Where to go
For island-hopping charm, try the Sporades (Skiathos and Alonissos) or Kalymnos. For culture and food, Kos Town, Argostoli and Corfu are great bases. For romance, Santorini’s inland villages and Zante’s quieter corners are hard to beat. Most Greek islands are around three to four hours from the UK.
