Trip overview

A week of theme parks followed by a week of doing very little. Start with seven nights on International Drive in Orlando, within easy reach of Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando and SeaWorld. Then take the short flight across the Gulf of Mexico to Cancún for seven nights all-inclusive on the beach. It is a popular choice for families with school-age children and for couples who love the parks.

It works well for families because the busy part comes first, and the second week has pools, kids' clubs and meals sorted. You fly into Orlando and home direct from Cancún. A hire car in Orlando is the easiest way to get between the parks, and we can add park tickets when you book.

Good to know

How do you get from Orlando to Cancún?

There are direct flights from Orlando to Cancún taking about 1¾ hours, though not every day. On other days you connect through Miami or another Florida airport.

Do I need a car in Orlando?

It is the easiest way to get between the parks, shops and restaurants, as public transport is limited. If you prefer not to drive, some hotels run shuttles to Universal and SeaWorld, and we can arrange transfers.

Is this a good trip for families?

Yes. The theme park week comes first, then the all-inclusive week lets everyone rest. Many Cancún resorts have kids' clubs and family rooms.

Can I fly from a regional UK airport?

Virgin Atlantic flies from Manchester to Orlando, and TUI flies to both Orlando and Cancún from several UK airports in season. We can check options from your nearest airport.
