Restaurants and Bars
With three restaurants and two bars, dining at The Views Oasis is relaxed but varied, blending Atlantic views with Madeiran flavours and familiar international favourites.
Acquamarina is the main buffet restaurant, serving breakfast and dinner with show cooking, a kids’ buffet and highchairs. Expect a changing line-up of international and local dishes, fresh salads and plenty of choice for different diets.
Atalaia Bistro offers an à la carte dinner experience three nights per week, with refined Madeiran and international cuisine – ideal for a quieter, grown-up evening.
By the pool, Trattoria Calhaus serves snacks, Italian-inspired dishes and local classics at lunch, and occasionally opens for dinner, all with a laidback sea-breeze feel.
For drinks, Atlantic Bar is the hotel’s smart cocktail bar, open into the evening for live music and nightcaps, while Calhau’s Bar keeps you topped up with drinks and light bites beside the pool.
A smart-casual dress code can apply for dinner (gentlemen may be asked to wear long trousers), and reservations or supplements may be needed depending on your board basis. Menus and opening days can vary by season. What All Inclusive typically includes.
Pool Areas and Beach
The hotel is all about outdoor living, with two saltwater pools facing the Atlantic and easy access to the shore.
The main outdoor saltwater pool is surrounded by sunbeds and parasols, with a generous terrace for lounging and reading in the sun. A separate heated children’s saltwater pool sits close by, so families can stay together without losing the view. Both pools have dedicated sunbathing areas, and baby-changing facilities are available.
Inside the spa centre you’ll find a heated indoor freshwater pool – a welcome retreat if the weather turns breezy or you prefer a calmer swim.
Stairs and paths from the gardens lead straight down to the pebble beach and promenade, perfect for a bracing dip, snorkelling in clear water, or simply watching the waves. Scuba diving and snorkelling are operated by an external provider (minimum age typically 15 years, extra charges apply).
Pool towels are available with a refundable deposit, and facilities or heating may vary by season.
Spa, Sports and Other Facilities
Wellness fans can head to Spa The Views Oasis, where you’ll find a sauna, steam room, Turkish bath and a menu of massage and beauty treatments (charges apply; spa access and age limits from around 15–16 years). There’s also an on-site hairdresser for holiday cuts or styling.
The compact gym is equipped with cardio machines and a free weights area and is usually open from mid-morning into the evening. For something more leisurely, join a game of petanque, challenge friends at snooker or enjoy a relaxed round of table tennis.
