This 2-day short break is an independent trip without a tour leader: you travel by coach and ferry on your own, and a local driver-guide shows you the island in a 4×4. You stay one night in a hotel on the island, with breakfast and two picnic lunches.

An early coach from Adelaide crosses the Fleurieu Peninsula to Cape Jervis, where the ferry takes you to Kangaroo Island, one of Australia's best places to see wildlife in the wild.
