Tour overview

This 15-day trip rides across central Mongolia's grasslands and mountains with a leader, a camp crew, support vehicles and a group of four to fourteen. You spend nine nights wild camping (you help pitch the tents), two in ger camps, two in a hotel and one on a sleeper train, with nearly all meals cooked by a camp chef.

After sightseeing in Ulaanbaatar you take the overnight train to Erdenet and start pedalling through rolling steppe past herding families, crossing the Tuluugiin and Kholboogin passes to camp by Khairkhan Lake.
