You’re directly connected to Aquashow Waterpark & Theme Park, so days can be as high-octane as you like, while the long sands of Quarteira and the boutiques and yachts of nearby Vilamoura Marina are an easy taxi ride away. Outside, two freshwater pools form the heart of the hotel’s sun deck – a main pool for adults and older kids, and a shallower children’s pool with plenty of space for inflatables and water play. Loungers and parasols ring the terraces, and there are baby-changing facilities close by for convenience. Indoors, a heated freshwater pool gives you an all-weather option in cooler months.

The headline act, though, is access to the wider Aquashow complex: an outdoor aqua park with slides, lazy river, kamikaze chutes, multi-lane racers and inflatable-ring rides (typically open 01 May–30 Sep, weather and occupancy permitting). Expect age, height or weight limits on some attractions.

The nearest beach is around 4.5km away in Quarteira – a wide sweep of fine sand backed by a pedestrian promenade dotted with cafés and seafood restaurants.
