Set on the western Istrian coastline, Aminess Maestral Hotel sits just back from the pebbly seafront, with the Adriatic on one side and Novigrad’s medieval old town around a 15–20 minute walk away. It’s an easy base for exploring the cobbled streets, church bell tower and small museums, then heading back for a swim or sundowner by the infinity pool.
The surrounding area is very walkable: follow the seafront promenade for beach bars and bathing platforms, or venture inland to sample Istrian wines, olive oils and truffle dishes in local tavernas.
