Ritz-Carlton Yacht brings hotel-group culinary credentials to sea. Signature restaurant S.E.A. is by Sven Elverfeld — head chef of three-Michelin Aqua at the Ritz-Carlton Wolfsburg. Memorī is by Maiko Mizumi. Two- and three-restaurant rotations make every voyage feel new.

Is it run by Ritz-Carlton or is it a licensed brand?

It's a joint venture: the Yacht Collection is operated by Marriott (Ritz-Carlton's parent company) with shipbuilding by Hijos de J. Barreras (Evrima) and Astilleros Barreras / Chantiers de l'Atlantique (Ilma + Luminara). The brand standards and service are genuine Ritz-Carlton.

How does Ritz-Carlton Yacht compare to Seabourn or Silversea?

Similar luxury tier and all-inclusive ethos. Ritz-Carlton leans more design-led and hotel-style; Seabourn and Silversea are more cruise-line classic luxury. Ritz suites are larger; Seabourn/Silversea have more sailings options. We can quote all three for your dates.

When does Luminara enter service?

Luminara is the third Yacht Collection ship and entered service in 2025. The fleet then numbers three sisters all operating year-round, with strong Mediterranean and Caribbean focus and increasing Asia presence.
