Belek, Lara, Side or Kemer?
Lara is closest to Antalya airport, with long sandy beaches and some of the most spectacular resort architecture. Belek is Turkey’s golf capital, with polished resorts in pine forest. Side and Sorgun combine sandy beaches with a charming old town and Roman ruins. Kemer has the most dramatic setting, where the Taurus Mountains meet the sea, with pebble beaches and clear water.
When to go
April to November is the season. May, June, September and October are ideal: hot but not scorching. July and August often top 35 °C. Flights from the UK take about four and a quarter hours.
