When to go and getting there
May to October is the season; June and September are perfect for couples. Flights take around three hours from the UK. Corfu Town and Gouvia are 10 to 20 minutes from the airport, Glyfada about 30 minutes, and Kalami, Sidari and Boukari around 45 minutes to an hour.
Romantic things to do
Wander Corfu Town’s Old Town and Liston arcade, watch the sunset from Pelekas or Glyfada, take a boat to Paxos and Antipaxos, visit the Achilleion Palace and the monastery at Paleokastritsa, and dine by the water at Kalami Bay.
