Puerto Pollensa: a sheltered bay, the pretty Pine Walk and mountain views; Pollensa old town is just inland. Alcúdia: a walled old town and a long sandy bay with lots of hotels. Playa de Muro: the long, shallow beach next to the S’Albufera wetlands, great for families. Cala San Vicente: small turquoise coves and a peaceful feel. All are around an hour from Palma airport.
