How to choose
History and nightlife: Rhodes Town, 15 to 20 minutes from the airport. Beaches and buzz: Faliraki, around 30 minutes away. Romance: Lindos, about an hour away. Laid-back and good value: Pefkos. Peace and space: Kiotari and Gennadi in the south, around an hour and a quarter away. The east coast is calmer and sandier; the west coast is breezier.
