Combining the two cities

Fast trains link Málaga and Seville in around two hours, so a twin-centre break is easy: two or three nights in each. Many guests add Granada for the Alhambra or Córdoba for the Mezquita. A Travel Designer can put the whole trip together.

How we chose these hotels

We sell 19 hotels in Málaga and 12 in Seville. For each city we chose the hotels our guests rate most highly on TripAdvisor, with a central location or a standout feature such as a rooftop pool. Every hotel can be booked with us as an ATOL-protected package with flights. Prices change daily, so use the search box at the end of this page for live availability.

When to go and getting there

Spring (March to May) and autumn (October and November) are ideal. Seville’s Holy Week processions and April Fair are spectacular. Summer is very hot, especially in Seville, often above 35 °C, so a hotel with a pool is a must. Málaga is mild in winter, around 17 °C. Flights to Málaga take around two and three-quarter hours from the UK, and the city centre is about 15 minutes from the airport. For Seville, our packages fly to Jerez, about an hour and a quarter away.

Things to do and what to eat

Málaga: the Picasso Museum, the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro Castle, the Centre Pompidou, the Atarazanas market and La Malagueta beach. Seville: the Real Alcázar, the cathedral and Giralda tower, Plaza de España, the Barrio Santa Cruz, and a flamenco show in Triana. Eat espetos (grilled sardines) in Málaga and salmorejo, jamón ibérico and tapas crawls in Seville, with a glass of sherry from nearby Jerez.
