When to go to Zante

The season runs from May to October. June and September are warm and quieter; July and August are the hottest and busiest months. Turtles nest in Laganas Bay between late May and August, and parts of the protected beaches have restricted hours.

Getting there and getting around

Flights from the UK take about three and a half hours, and most transfers are under an hour. Boat trips from Zante Town and the north of the island visit Shipwreck Beach and the Blue Caves; check current access rules for Navagio before you go.
