Self-Guided Walking in Jersey, Guernsey & Sark – 7 Days
Coastal walks on Jersey, Guernsey and car-free Sark, with luggage moved between hotels.
Tour overview
This 7-day self-guided walking holiday explores three of the Channel Islands at your own pace, following dramatic cliff paths, sandy bays and quiet lanes. You walk with route directions and detailed maps, while your luggage is moved between hotels so you carry only a daypack, and a local agent is on hand for support. You stay six nights in three-star hotels, three in St Helier and three in St Peter Port, with breakfast daily. Arrival and departure airport transfers and the boat crossings between the islands are included.
In Jersey you begin around St Helier's harbours, with views of Elizabeth Castle and Fort Regent, and an optional first walk on the north coast to Les Platons, the highest point in the Channel Islands. The next day you follow the south coast to Corbière lighthouse and along the great sweep of St Brelade's Bay, past Second World War fortifications at Noirmont Point to the fishing village of St Aubin. The north-west coastal path then leads from St John's Church to Grève de Lecq and the rocky Pinnacle.

A boat takes you to Guernsey and its capital, St Peter Port, with its harbour and historic gardens. From Jerbourg Point you walk up the east coast past Fermain Bay and through Bluebell Wood. A day trip brings you to Sark, where there are no cars and the roads are unpaved, to walk from Big Sark to Little Sark across La Coupée, a narrow ridge high above the sea. Your final walk follows Guernsey's south coast from Icart Point along cliffs covered in heather and gorse, with views to France on a clear day.
The physical rating is medium. This holiday suits independent walkers who want spectacular coastal scenery without the need to carry their luggage.
