Andorra Family Adventure: Pyrenees Week for Teens – 8 Days
Seven nights in one chalet hotel in Soldeu, with hiking, biking, zip-lining and rafting for families with teenagers.
Tour overview
This 8-day family trip is based in one small hotel in Soldeu, in the Andorran Pyrenees, and is designed for families with children aged 10 and over. Each day a private minibus takes you a short way into the mountains for a different activity, then brings you back to the same hotel.
The week starts with an easy bike ride to Engolasters Lake and a zip-line and treetop course. There are two guided hikes: one to Salamandres Lake, with an optional climb to Ransol Ridge at 2,500 metres, and one up the Incles Valley to Cabana Sorda Lake. One day crosses into Spain for about 14 kilometres of white-water rafting on the Noguera Pallaresa near Sort. Another starts at Port d'Envalira, the highest road pass in the Pyrenees, and rides down to Abelletes Lake on the French border and back to Soldeu.

Frequently asked questions
How do I book this tour?
Tap any "Enquire" button on the page and one of our travel specialists will be in touch within 24 hours (often same day). We'll confirm availability on your preferred date, run through anything you need to know, and only ask for the deposit once you've decided.
What financial protection do I get?
Every Travelisto booking is 100% financially protected. Your money is held in a ring-fenced Trust account until you return from your trip, and we are members of the Protected Trust Services scheme (PTS 6035). Most tours also include ATOL protection where flights are part of the package.
How fit do we need to be?
A moderate level of fitness helps. Day 3 is about 12 to 15 kilometres with 650 metres of ascent and descent, and Day 5 about 15 kilometres with 700 metres of climbing. Everyone must be able to ride a bike, and groups may split by ability.
Is the rafting suitable for beginners and children?
Yes, the 14-kilometre stretch is beginner-friendly, but everyone who rafts must be a competent swimmer. Children aged 8 to 12 raft only Grade I–II water. Anyone who sits out can relax at the rafting centre.
What is the minimum age?
The minimum age is 10. Groups are 2 to 16 travellers.
How do we get to Soldeu?
Most travellers fly to Barcelona or Toulouse. A pre-bookable group transfer runs from Barcelona airport on Day 1 for flights landing before 11:30 am, and public buses from Barcelona and Toulouse stop outside the hotel. The drive is about 4 hours from Barcelona and up to 3.5 hours from Toulouse.
Can we drive ourselves?
Yes. Many families hire a car, and parking at the hotel is free for your stay.
Can you tailor the trip?
Yes — every escorted tour can be modified into a private tailor-made version with your own dates, adjusted pace, upgraded hotels and add-on extensions. Tell us what you'd like changed when you enquire and we'll quote it both ways so you can compare.
What if my flight is delayed or cancelled?
If your international flight is part of your booking through us, we re-book at no cost. If you've booked flights separately, the tour's local team holds your transfer slot until you arrive. We strongly recommend a comprehensive travel insurance policy that includes delay and cancellation cover.
Not quite the right fit? Make it tailor-made.
If this group tour doesn't match your ideal trip, our specialists will turn it into a private tailor-made journey — your own dates, your own pace, upgraded hotels where you want them, and the parts you don't love swapped out. Same destinations, just rebuilt around you.
