When to go to Marrakech
The best time to visit is October to May, when days are warm and sunny, from around 19°C in midwinter to the high 20s in spring and autumn. Evenings can be cool in winter. June to September is very hot, often above 35°C.
Getting there and getting around
Flights to Marrakech take about three and three-quarter hours, and transfers are 25 to 50 minutes. Taxis are the easiest way between your hotel and the medina, and day trips run to the Atlas Mountains, the Ourika Valley and the coastal town of Essaouira.
