Facilities
Pool & outdoors
There is no swimming pool at Nautilus Hotel – the focus here is very much the sea. With the beach just across the road (around 10 metres away), you have easy access to the sands of Naxos Bay, where you’ll find a mix of public areas and private lidos offering loungers and parasols for hire.
Whether you prefer a simple patch of sand to roll out your towel or a lido with bars and music, the long waterfront promenade gives you plenty of choice, and the calm Ionian waters are ideal for relaxed swims and paddle dips.
Spa, sports & wellness
As a small, design-led hotel, Nautilus keeps facilities intimate and low-key. There is no on-site spa or gym, but the concierge team is on hand to help you tap into the best of the local area – from booking boat trips around the coast and to Isola Bella, to arranging excursions up Mount Etna or day visits to Taormina.
Within the hotel you’ll find:
• Reception with concierge-style services
• Lift access to guest floors
• Lounge and bar areas for relaxing with a drink
• Free Wi-Fi throughout the property
For watersports, beach clubs and bike hire, simply stroll along the seafront to find independent local operators (seasonal, extra charges apply).
Activities
While Nautilus Hotel itself is about relaxed, boutique living rather than organised entertainment, Giardini Naxos offers plenty to fill your days:

• Coastal walks along the seafront promenade
• Independent watersports nearby (seasonal, extra charge) – think boat trips, kayaking or paddleboarding
• Easy day trips to Taormina, Mount Etna and Isola Bella
Most experiences are arranged via local operators; the hotel team can assist with recommendations and bookings.

Food & drink
Mornings at Nautilus Hotel centre around the bright breakfast room, where a continental-style buffet sets you up for a day at the beach or exploring nearby Taormina. Expect fresh pastries, breads, cheeses, cold cuts and fruit, alongside hot drinks and juices, with options varying by season.
The star of the show later in the day is the hotel’s cocktail bar – a contemporary, glass-fronted space that feels purpose-built for aperitivo hour. Sip a Negroni, local Etna wine or a classic spritz while you watch the colours change over the bay. Opening times vary by season, and the hotel may request smart-casual dress in the evenings.
As the property is Bed & Breakfast only, dinners are an opportunity to sample Giardini Naxos’ many trattorias, pizzerias and seafood restaurants within a few minutes’ walk.
