Amoessa Boutique sits in the cosmopolitan coastal village of Polichrono on Halkidiki’s Kassandra peninsula. The hotel is tucked just back from the main resort, giving you a peaceful base within walking distance of everything you need. Wander around 400m to reach the long Blue Flag beach, lined with loungers and crystal-clear water ideal for swimming and snorkelling, or stroll the same distance into the compact centre for traditional tavernas, low-key cocktail bars and local shops.
Polichrono itself mixes modern seaside life with touches of history – it is built on the site of ancient Neapolis – and makes a great base for exploring wider Halkidiki. From here you can hike to Lake Mavrobara to spot local wildlife, join a boat trip along the coast, or head out by car to nearby Kalithea or even Thessaloniki for a dose of city culture and shopping.
