Facilities
Pool & outdoors
If your ideal holiday revolves around the pool, you’re in luck. The resort features two main outdoor freshwater pools including a children’s area, surrounded by sunbeds and parasols, plus a dedicated children’s pool within the waterpark zone. Towels are available with a refundable deposit.
The on-site aqua park (usually mid-May to end of September, weather and occupancy dependent) is a headline act, with slides, a rocky river ride and inflatable ring slides that older kids and teens will love. Younger children have their own splash park with sprinklers and spouts to cool off in the summer heat.
An indoor pool with whirlpool – heated during the main season and located at a neighbouring building within the complex – offers a quieter option in cooler months. A short stroll (around 50m) takes you down through gardens and terraces towards the beach, where you can enjoy gentle waves and a classic Black Sea shoreline, plus paid water sports such as pedalos, windsurfing, motorised options and scuba diving run by an external provider.
Spa, sports & wellness
Days can be as active or relaxed as you like. The air-conditioned gym is kitted out with cardio machines and a free-weights area (typically 16+), and there’s a good mix of activities: aqua aerobics, dance and fitness classes, darts, football, petanque, volleyball, table tennis, short tennis and yoga.
Families and groups can head to the on-site bowling alley for extra fun (seasonal; local charges apply). For deep relaxation, the Relax Centre offers a sauna, steam room, Turkish bath, whirlpool and a menu of massages and beauty treatments, along with a hairdresser – perfect for a spruce-up before dinner (most spa facilities and treatments are chargeable and usually 16+).
Practical touches include a 24-hour reception with concierge-style services, currency exchange, luggage storage and a small on-site mini-market for everyday bits like beach toys and snacks.

Food is a big part of the fun at Sol Nessebar Resort, with a line-up designed to keep even picky eaters happy.
The main buffet restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with live show-cooking stations and a mix of Bulgarian and international favourites. Across the resort you’ll find themed venues and snack spots, many open seasonally: Chinese Hot Pot, Italian restaurant Osteria Del Golfo, Der Biergarten, Taperia Malecon, Umi Japanese Corner, Paellador Levante, plus a burger bar, fish & chips outlet and an ice cream pavilion.
Drinks and light bites are never far away thanks to multiple bars, including a lobby bar, pool bar and Bar Embarcaderro by the beachfront terraces. Think mid-morning ice creams, lunchtime burgers, afternoon snacks and sundowner cocktails overlooking the sea. Smart-casual dress codes typically apply in the main restaurants, and some specialty venues require advance reservations or may carry supplements depending on your board.
