Map & location
Guvercinlik, Bodrum Area, Turkey
La Blanche Island sits just outside the fishing village of Guvercinlik, on the peaceful side of the Bodrum peninsula. The resort is surrounded by calm, bay-like waters that feel more like a lake than open sea, with pine and olive trees dotting the hillsides and small boats bobbing offshore.
Stay put for a true "resort bubble" experience, or head 3.5km into Guvercinlik for low-key bars, cafés and waterfront restaurants. Bodrum city, with its castle, marina and lively bazaar, is easily reached by taxi or excursion if you fancy dialling up the culture and nightlife for an afternoon or evening.
- Beachfront direct access to three private coves
- Guvercinlik resort centre & nearest shops/bars/restaurants 3.5km
- Bodrum city 25–30km (around 30–40 minutes by car)
- Approx. transfer time from airport 40 minutes (Bodrum Airport – BJV)
Facilities
Pool & outdoors
The pool and beach scene is where La Blanche Island really flexes its resort muscles.
- Three outdoor freshwater pools, including a large main pool, a quieter heated pool early in the season, and a children’s pool with slides.
- Two indoor pools in the spa, including a heated children’s pool – ideal for cooler days at the start or end of the season.
- Dedicated children’s splash pool with slides, sunbeds and parasols close by for parents.
- Full aquapark featuring body slides, kamikaze and multi-lane racer chutes (seasonal; height/age restrictions may apply).
Around the peninsula you’ll find three separate beach areas, where wooden decks, small sandy sections and ladders into the clear, calm water create a choice of swim spots. Sunbeds, parasols and free pool/beach towels are included, and some bars sit right on the seafront so you’re never far from a cold drink.
Pool opening dates, heating periods and facilities can vary by season and weather conditions.
