Namibia Tours: Lodge Safari, Luxury or Overland From Cape Town?

In this story

Namibia is big, dry and wonderfully empty: the red dunes of Sossusvlei, the white clay pan of Deadvlei, the Atlantic coast at Swakopmund, the rock engravings of Damaraland and the waterholes of Etosha. Nearly every tour links the same handful of highlights, so the real choice is how you travel between them, what you sleep in and how much you spend.

This guide is for anyone comparing Namibia tours. We line up every tour on our Namibia tours page, from good-value lodge safaris to luxury trips with rhino tracking, overland from Cape Town, and tours with flights, with who each suits and its honest drawback. Expect long drives; Namibia does not do short distances.
