In this story

November is one of the best months of the year for Mauritius. It is early summer in the southern hemisphere, so the days are hot and sunny, the sea is warm, and the main rainy season has not yet arrived. It is also a quieter month than the Christmas peak, which makes it a good time to find value at the island’s all-inclusive resorts.

To build this guide we ran a live search for a seven-night all-inclusive holiday for two from London, departing on 14 November 2026, and picked twelve of the best resorts from the results, from great-value beach hotels to two of the most exclusive addresses in the Indian Ocean. Every price below includes return flights, all-inclusive board and seven nights’ accommodation (six nights at Riu Turquoise, Riu Palace and Heritage Awali, where the hotel stay starts the morning after the overnight flight), and is per person based on two adults sharing. We checked the prices on 7 October 2026; they change daily, so ask us for the latest.

Laguna Beach Hotel & Spa

From £1,631 per person

East coast, near Grand River South East · All inclusive · best available room

7 nights from 14 November 2026 · return flights from London Gatwick with Emirates via Dubai, economy · total £3,262 for two

Plus Mauritius tourist tax of €3 per person per night, payable locally at the hotel (children under 12 exempt).

The lowest-priced all-inclusive in our search, Laguna Beach is a four-star hotel in a quiet spot on the south-east coast, looking out over the ocean with mountains on the horizon. It is a traditional, unpretentious hotel rather than a glossy resort, but it has the things that matter on a beach holiday: a very large swimming pool, a sandy beach, a spa and a gym, and rooms with balconies or terraces.

Its location is good for exploring the wilder east and south-east of the island, and glass-bottomed boat trips run from the hotel. Choose it if the aim is sunshine, relaxation and a sensible budget.

Best for: Couples and friends on a budget who want an easy, relaxed beach week

Veranda Palmar Beach

From £1,687 per person

East coast, Belle Mare · All inclusive plus · best available room

7 nights from 14 November 2026 · return flights from London Gatwick with Emirates via Dubai, economy · total £3,375 for two

Plus Mauritius tourist tax of €3 per person per night, payable locally at the hotel (children under 12 exempt).

Belle Mare is one of the island’s most beautiful stretches of coast, with a long white-sand beach and a calm lagoon, and Veranda Palmar Beach puts you right on it at a remarkably low price. The hotel reopened in September 2023 after a renovation inspired by vintage Mauritian style, and it has a reputation as one of the friendliest hotels on the island.

This package is on “all inclusive plus”, the hotel’s upgraded all-inclusive, and the calm lagoon in front of the hotel is ideal for swimming, snorkelling and water sports. Mauritius-owned Veranda Resorts runs it with a relaxed, sociable feel that suits couples and families alike.

Best for: Anyone who wants a Belle Mare beach at a very affordable price, and lovers of the sea

Veranda Tamarin Hotel & Spa

From £1,856 per person

West coast, Tamarin Bay · All inclusive · best available room

7 nights from 14 November 2026 · return flights from London Gatwick with Emirates via Dubai, economy · total £3,713 for two

Plus Mauritius tourist tax of €3 per person per night, payable locally at the hotel (children under 12 exempt).

Something different. Veranda Tamarin is a colourful, characterful hotel on the west coast, styled in a playful seventies look with jazz on the soundtrack. It sits between green hills and Tamarin Bay, a bay known for the dolphins that are regular visitors, and the west coast gives you the island’s best sunsets.

The hotel’s “Explorer” approach is all about getting out and seeing the island, with activities and excursions that suit travellers who would rather hike, take a dolphin-watching trip or visit Black River Gorges National Park than lie by the pool all week.

Best for: Active, curious travellers and anyone who prefers personality over polish

Maritim Resort & Spa Mauritius

From £1,857 per person

North-west coast, Balaclava (Turtle Bay) · All inclusive · best available room

7 nights from 14 November 2026 · return flights from London Gatwick with Emirates via Dubai, economy · total £3,714 for two

Plus Mauritius tourist tax of €3 per person per night, payable locally at the hotel (children under 12 exempt).

Maritim sits on a private estate at Balaclava, on Turtle Bay, a protected marine park on the north-west coast. Its setting is its big selling point: some 25 hectares of tropical gardens and nature park running down to the ocean, so the resort feels spacious even when it is busy.

The north-west coast is known for calm seas and some of the island’s most reliable weather, and the resort is within easy reach of both Port Louis and the restaurants and nightlife of Grand Baie. The snorkelling in the marine park on your doorstep is a highlight.

Best for: Families and couples who want space, gardens and good snorkelling at a mid-range price

Hotel Riu Turquoise

From £1,913 per person

South-west coast, Le Morne · 24-hour all inclusive · standard room with sea view

6 nights from 14 November 2026 · return flights from London Gatwick with Emirates via Dubai, economy · total £3,826 for two

Plus Mauritius tourist tax of €3 per person per night, payable locally at the hotel (children under 12 exempt).

The Le Morne peninsula in the south-west is one of the most spectacular corners of Mauritius, dominated by the UNESCO-listed Le Morne Brabant mountain and lined with some of the island’s best beaches. Riu Turquoise has a prime spot here and runs a true 24-hour all-inclusive, the kind of package Riu is known for around the world.

It is one of the best family choices on the island, with a children’s club, a pool with slides for kids, entertainment through the day and the Riu Fit programme for adults. Le Morne is also famous for kitesurfing, if anyone in the family fancies a lesson. This price includes a sea-view room.

Best for: Families who want lots going on, and anyone who likes a fully all-inclusive resort

Mid-range: £2,000 to £3,000 per person

Step up a level and you get more space, more restaurants and some of the island’s most distinctive resorts.

The Ravenala Attitude

From £2,169 per person

North-west coast, Balaclava · All inclusive · best available room

7 nights from 14 November 2026 · return flights from London Gatwick with Emirates via Dubai, economy · total £4,338 for two

Plus Mauritius tourist tax of €3 per person per night, payable locally at the hotel (children under 12 exempt).

An all-suite hotel set in exotic gardens between the Citron River and Turtle Bay, The Ravenala Attitude is one of the best all-rounders on the island. Every room is a suite, with a balcony or terrace, and there are around ten restaurants and several bars to choose from, so a week never feels repetitive.

Attitude is a Mauritian hotel group that puts a lot of emphasis on local culture, food and music, so this is a good choice if you want to feel you are in Mauritius rather than in an international chain. The suites suit families particularly well.

Best for: Families and couples who want suite space and lots of dining choice

Preskil Island Resort

From £2,496 per person

South-east coast, near Mahébourg · All inclusive · best available room

7 nights from 14 November 2026 · return flights from London Gatwick with Emirates via Dubai, economy · total £4,992 for two

Plus Mauritius tourist tax of €3 per person per night, payable locally at the hotel (children under 12 exempt).

Preskil sits on its own peninsula in the south-east, looking across one of the island’s widest lagoons to the Île aux Aigrettes nature reserve, home to rare birds and giant tortoises. The setting is beautiful, with calm, clear water ideal for swimming and paddling, and the resort has been fully refurbished in recent years.

It is also one of the closest resorts to the airport, which makes a real difference after a long-haul flight. Nearby Mahébourg, the island’s historic former capital, has a lively Monday market and good local food.

Best for: Couples, and anyone who wants a short airport transfer and a calm lagoon

Hotel Riu Palace Mauritius

From £2,711 per person

South-west coast, Le Morne · 24-hour all inclusive · junior suite, Elite Club

6 nights from 14 November 2026 · return flights from London Gatwick with Emirates via Dubai, economy · total £5,421 for two

Plus Mauritius tourist tax of €3 per person per night, payable locally at the hotel (children under 12 exempt).

The grown-up sister to Riu Turquoise, next door on the Le Morne peninsula, Riu Palace Mauritius is adults only. It offers the same 24-hour all-inclusive and the same spectacular setting, but in a quieter, more refined atmosphere.

This price is for a junior suite on the Elite Club level, Riu’s premium tier with extra privileges, which is very good value at this level. If you want a romantic, child-free week with everything included, it is one of the strongest options on the island.

Best for: Couples and honeymooners who want adults only and everything included

Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort

From £2,873 per person

South coast, Bel Ombre · All inclusive · deluxe sea-view room

6 nights from 14 November 2026 · return flights from London Gatwick with Emirates via Dubai, economy · total £5,746 for two

Plus Mauritius tourist tax of €3 per person per night, payable locally at the hotel (children under 12 exempt).

Heritage Awali is regularly described as one of the best all-inclusive hotels in Mauritius, and it is easy to see why. It sits on the unspoilt south coast at Bel Ombre, in a region recognised by UNESCO as a biosphere area, with an African-inspired design, a long beach and the Heritage golf course next door.

The resort is very good for families, with a strong kids’ club and plenty of activities, while the wider Bel Ombre estate offers nature trails, quad biking and a nature reserve. This price includes a deluxe sea-view room.

Best for: Families and golfers who want a polished, activity-packed all-inclusive

A Mauritian classic. It is particularly famous for golf, with two 18-hole championship courses, and for food and wine, with seven restaurants and six bars.

It is big enough to suit families and golfing groups, but the sheer size of the beach and gardens means it never feels crowded.

Best for: Honeymooners and special occasions, when only the best will do
