SeaDream Yacht Club

It's yachting, not cruising

Two 112-guest twin yachts (SeaDream I and SeaDream II), all-inclusive, all-suite, with the smallest passenger count of any luxury cruise line. Yachts not ships, the founder insists — and the casual-elegant, kid-free, watersports-from-the-marina feel backs that up. Mediterranean in summer, Caribbean in winter.

Why book SeaDream Yacht Club

Why a SeaDream Yacht Club voyage?

Six reasons we recommend this line to the right kind of traveller.

112 guests means everything is yours

Smallest passenger count in luxury cruising. No queues, no reservations needed for dining, no shows you need to book. The crew knows your name and drink by Day 2.

Marina platform watersports daily

A stern marina drops at most anchor days — kayaks, paddleboards, sailboats, waterskis, wakeboards, snorkel gear, scuba (PADI on board). Often you swim straight off the back of the yacht in clear Mediterranean coves.

Famously casual elegance

No formal nights, no tuxedos. Smart casual at dinner. Loafers without socks, white linen — that's the SeaDream vibe. The casual luxury aesthetic that yacht life implies.

Genuinely all-inclusive

All meals (no specialty restaurant surcharges), all drinks (including premium spirits), gratuities, watersports gear, WiFi. Extras are spa, off-yacht excursions (curated by SeaDream), and the occasional special wine.

The honest version

Might not be for you if…

No cruise line is for everyone. Here's where SeaDream Yacht Club might not fit. We'll point you elsewhere if so.

You want big-ship choice

One restaurant, two bars, a small spa, a top-deck pool. The yacht is small by design — for choice, look at Oceania (1,250 guests) or larger luxury lines.

You want a balcony cabin

SeaDream cabins are well-designed but compact (around 195 sq ft) — no balconies. Yachts trade balcony space for shared deck and marina-platform time.

You're travelling with children

No kids' clubs and the casual-elegant adult vibe doesn't suit children well. Welcome but not catered for. For family luxury, Disney or Royal Caribbean are better picks.

Dining

One menu, two settings — and no reservations ever

SeaDream operates the way a private yacht would. One kitchen, one menu, served either indoors in the Dining Salon or al fresco on the Topside Restaurant. Walk in when you like; the table is yours.

The Dining Salon
Indoor formal-but-relaxed restaurant — open seating, no fixed tables, no reservations.
The Topside Restaurant
Al fresco on the open deck — same menu, sea-air dining. SeaDream signature is dinner here as the sun sets.
Raw Bar at the marina
Anchor-day raw bar drops at the stern when the marina opens — caviar, ceviche, oysters.
Top of the Yacht Bar
Indoor/outdoor bar with sunset views — cocktails crafted by name; the daily aperitif tradition is sacrosanct.
In-suite dining
24-hour suite service from the same kitchen — including full multi-course dinners in your suite if you prefer.
Tea & late snacks
Afternoon tea, late-night sweets, pre-sunset hors d'œuvres — the small touches that make yacht life feel like yacht life.

FAQ

Quick answers about SeaDream Yacht Club

How is SeaDream really different from Silversea or Seabourn?
SeaDream is smaller (112 vs 250+ on Silversea/Seabourn), more casual (no formal nights, ever), and yacht-style (marina platform, smaller scale, more intimate). The trade-off is fewer onboard amenities — but if you want yacht atmosphere, nothing else comes close at this price tier.
What's a DreamBed?
Balinese-style canopied daybeds on the upper deck — and yes, you can ask to sleep under the stars on them overnight. Pillows, sheets and a turn-down service are provided. Wake at dawn on the open ocean with the yacht under way.
Can I scuba dive?
Yes — both yachts have PADI dive operations on board with the marina platform. Dive briefings on the yacht, escorted dives directly from the stern, all gear provided. Certifications welcomed; non-certified divers can do try-dives.
