Map & location
Santa Teresa Gallura, Sardinia, Italy
Mangia’s Sardinia Resort occupies a tranquil stretch of Sardinia’s north coast, a short drive from the charming town of Santa Teresa Gallura. The hotel looks straight onto the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Bonifacio Strait, with Corsica shimmering on the horizon on clear days.
You’re away from the crowds here, surrounded by scrub-covered hills, granite rock formations and powder-soft sand. With car hire typically included, you can beach-hop your way along the coastline – from Spiaggia Rena Bianca to secluded coves like Cala Spinosa and Rena di Ponente – or head inland to discover hiking trails, lighthouses and panoramic viewpoints at Capo Testa.
Santa Teresa Gallura’s harbourfront bars, traditional trattorie and gelato shops are close enough for relaxed evenings out, but far enough that the resort itself stays blissfully peaceful day and night.
- Beach beachfront with private hotel section (sunbeds in 1st & 2nd row payable locally)
- Santa Teresa Gallura resort centre 5.7 km
- restaurants, bars and basic shops within a short drive
- Approx. transfer time from airport around 1 hour 15 minutes’ drive from Olbia (OLB) when using included car hire (time may vary with traffic and route).
Facilities
Pool & outdoors
Cool off in two outdoor freshwater pools, including a dedicated children’s pool with a shallow area for little swimmers (opening dates vary seasonally). The main pool is framed by sea views, loungers and parasols, creating an easy-going, beach-club feel without the noise. Pool towels are available (deposit or local charge may apply).
A few steps below, the hotel’s private beach section opens onto a gorgeous slice of white sand washed by turquoise water. Sunbeds and umbrellas are set out in rows; the first and second rows are chargeable, while other spots may have different pricing or availability across the season. It’s the kind of shore you’ll happily spend all day on – swimming, snorkelling, or simply strolling along the waterline at sunset.
Facilities and opening dates can change from season to season, so treat them as a helpful guide rather than a guarantee.
Spa, sports & wellness
Active guests and families will find plenty of ways to break up their beach days. The air-conditioned gym (for guests 16+ years) offers cardio machines and space for stretching, while an extensive sports line-up might include:
- Aerobics and aqua aerobics
- Dance classes and light athletics
- Football and volleyball
- Tennis and paddle courts
- Petanque and table tennis
In the evenings, look out for daily entertainment through the summer, often with music, shows or low-key performances. During October, the programme usually winds down to more relaxed, regular entertainment. Depending on the day’s schedule, some activities or shows may be in Italian, adding a pleasingly local flavour to your stay.
Around the resort you’ll also find a welcoming reception with concierge-style assistance, plus bottle warmers on request – handy for younger families. Spa and beauty facilities aren’t core to this resort, so think of it more as a beach-sport-and-family hub than a full-service spa hotel.
Activities
At Mangia’s Sardinia Resort you can be as active or as relaxed as you like. Typical activities include:
- ? Aqua aerobics and pool-based games
- ? Dance classes and light fitness sessions
- ⚽ Small-sided football on multi-use courts
- ? Tennis and paddle (equipment or court hire may apply)
- ? Beach or court volleyball
- ? Petanque and table tennis
- ? Workouts in the air-conditioned gym (16+)
In high season, a daily entertainment programme brings extra energy with organised games, family activities and evening shows. As the season winds down into October, the vibe becomes more low-key with regular but more relaxed entertainment. Some activities and performances may be in Italian, giving you a flavour of local holiday culture.

Food & drink
A stay at Mangia’s Sardinia Resort is as much about leisurely Italian dining as it is about sea views. The food scene is anchored by Mediterra, a bright buffet restaurant serving Mediterranean and international dishes at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Expect salads, grills, oven-baked favourites and family-friendly classics, with highchairs and microwaves on hand for little ones.
Three à la carte choices give you extra variety:
- Al Grano Pizzeria – a relaxed spot specialising in freshly baked pizzas and Italian comfort dishes for dinner (typically open mid-June to late September, subject to occupancy).
- Beach Grill Restaurant – set right by the sand, this à la carte serves Italian-inspired grills and seafood for lunch and dinner in high season.
- Donna Floriana – evening-only à la carte restaurant, ideal for a more intimate, local-flavour dinner.
For drinks, there’s a beach bar for chilled refreshments between swims and a pool bar that usually opens from morning until late evening for cocktails, soft drinks and coffee.
A smart-casual dress code may apply in the evening and reservations are often required for the à la carte venues. Supplements can apply depending on your chosen board basis and services are subject to seasonal changes. What All Inclusive typically includes.
