Spread to Bones
Hello, My Mom has Stage 4 lung cancer.In addition to her chemo for her lungs, She has been through radiation for her brain, and yesterday we found out it has also spread to her bones. So far don't know much, but I think it is in her lower spine. Is radiation the next treatment? Does it help? She has been on Tarceva for over a year. It must not be working very well since she just went through more radiation to her brain a few months ago and now it is in the bones. Also for the first time she has to take pain meds. I know everyone here is also going through tough times too. Any insight or info would be appreciated. Thank you, Diana...
