I have a nodular in my lower left lung. It isnt calcified. I went to a pulminologist yesterday.. He says if it shows to be cancerous today, he wants to cut it out. If not, he wants to wait 6 months to see if it changes at all. Does that sound about right? thanks, cheryl...

I am new to this. I actually just got a letter yesterday from my physician. It said from a ct scan I had in June they found one small .5 cm nodule in my left lung. Coincidentally I just got over mono. I am petrified. I have 3 children and I cant stop worrying. They are suggesting I have another ct scan in 6 months. Does that sound right, or should I be more aggressive. I have been a smoker for 20 year. thanks, cheryl...
